The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University places strong emphasis on building high-impact partnerships and collaboration agreements with leading local and international entities. These partnerships are a core enabler of the faculty’s ambition to advance academic excellence, accelerate research and innovation, and ensure that graduates and postgraduate talent are equipped with the skills demanded by fast-evolving digital sectors. In recent years, the faculty has expanded its strategic collaboration portfolio through several major initiatives. These include a joint partnership with the Ministry of Interior and SABIC to establish the Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Chair, focused on advancing technology-driven approaches to crime prevention. The faculty also signed an agreement with Politecnico di Milano to strengthen postgraduate capacity development through specialized programs and workshops, as well as joint academic supervision and research engagement. In addition, the faculty entered into a collaboration with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) to support the development of academic and professional training programs in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Internationally, the Faculty has also partnered with SUPCON (China) to provide hands-on student training and talent preparation in emerging technologies. Another key collaboration is with Hubei University (China) to establish a Joint Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and expand cooperation in research and innovation. Furthermore, the Faculty signed an agreement with Fakeeh Healthcare Group to co-develop intelligent, practical, and innovative solutions that contribute to the transformation of the healthcare sector. Looking ahead, the faculty remains committed to continuously expanding purpose-driven partnerships that directly support its strategic objectives, strengthen academia–industry collaboration, and deliver measurable value to the university, the national economy, and society—aligned with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
