Practical Training Unit

Practical training constitutes a fundamental pillar within the academic education system, providing the optimal applied environment to test theoretical knowledge in real-world professional practice. This phase aims to equip students with advanced technical skills, instill disciplined professional conduct, and broaden cognitive perspectives through the systematic integration of scientific theories and practical application within accredited organizations. Aligned with the strategic objectives of King Abdulaziz University, which aim to enhance the quality of educational outcomes and foster a stimulating environment for innovation, the responsibilities of the Practical Training Unit center on the direct supervision and management of the training program's practical component. The unit coordinates among training entities, students, academic departments, and academic supervisors. It meticulously monitors the evaluation of students' performance regarding their assigned tasks during the training period. Subsequently, the unit records the evaluation results and submits them to the academic departments for approval, in accordance with the approved course specifications for practical training in each respective department. Furthermore, the unit assumes the responsibility of achieving and maintaining comprehensive quality assurance for all training operations and outcomes across the college, ensuring compliance with the required standardized academic and professional criteria. The success of this system necessitates strict adherence by students to professional standards and full compliance with the directives of both academic supervisors and designated professionals at the training entities.
