Duties of the Student Counseling Unit:
Receive students who require counseling.
Implement academic underperformance prevention programs according to the approved proposal.
Register students who have, or are observed to have, psychological, social, or academic issues, as well as those referred by the College Vice Dean, faculty members, or equivalent authorities.
Maintain ongoing coordination between the unit’s staff and the University Counseling Center regarding students’ counseling needs.
Refer students who require additional counseling sessions to the University Counseling Center.
Coordinate with the University Counseling Center to organize awareness workshops in the field of counseling.
Implement preventive counseling programs within the College.
Identify the unit’s needs for educational and counseling materials and resources.
