Learning Outcomes

K1 - Recognize specialized knowledge and understanding of the essential biomedical, and behavioral sciences relevant to Pediatric Dentistry.
K2 - Develop a comprehensive and critical knowledge of the pediatric patient growth and development and differentiate any deviation or abnormal patterns of growth and development in pediatric patients.
K3 - Display an extensive and critical understanding of the principles of assessment and diagnosis for pediatric patients, including those with special health care needs.
K4 - Demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge and understanding in comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care approaches for pediatric patients including those with special health care needs with an emphasis on the recent advances in the field.
K5 - Develop a deep understanding of research methodology and design in relation to Pediatric Dentistry.
S1 - Apply theoretical and technical /practical knowledge to assess and diagnose behavioral, dental, and orofacial problems in healthy children and those with special health care needs in various contexts.
S2 - Formulate comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs.
S3 - Critically appraise and analyze scientific articles in the field of Pediatric Dentistry.
S4 - Design, plan, conduct and present scientific research related to Pediatric Dentistry.
S5 - Perform advanced clinical procedures using specialized processes, techniques, tools, instruments, and materials, utilizing modern technology for managing pediatric patients including those with special health care needs and dentofacial anomalies.
S6 - Communicate effectively in various forms to transfer specialized knowledge and skills to different audiences and share important information within the community.
S7 - Utilize information and communication technology (ICT) effectively in clinical practice and research
S8 - Demonstrate the ability to teach, supervise, share scientific experiences, and disseminate knowledge in the field of Pediatric Dentistry.
