The library provides researchers with access to a wide range of digital content in all forms through a unified search, enhancing the user’s research experience. Access the Digital Library
Book Reservation Service
This service is available to all university members. Books can be reserved through the library’s website by filling out the reservation form. If the book is available, the user will be notified via email with the time and place for collection from the circulation desk.
Library Visit Request
Faculty members, research groups, and educational institutions outside the university can submit a library visit request and schedule a proposed date via the library’s website.
Guided Tour Request
Through its website, the library offers guided tours for its members to become familiar with its departments and services via booking a guided tour.
Special Needs Service
The library provides many services for the visually impaired and blind, including a dedicated lab equipped with software, devices, and printers that help them read books in Braille and browse the internet using the NVDA screen reader.
Feedback and Surveys
The library evaluates its services by collecting users’ feedback through its website on the Your Voice Matters page, as well as by scanning QR codes displayed throughout the library facilities.

Colleges and academic departments can request books or references to support the educational process by contacting the General Administration of Libraries at library@kau.edu.sa.

Study Room Reservation
The library provides faculty members with the service of reserving study rooms for lectures and team meetings, and students can reserve private study cubicles. This is available through the room reservation form.
Article Request Service
The library allows users to request scientific articles not available in its resources by filling out the article request form.
Book Suggestion Service
Users can suggest books and references for the library by filling out the online suggestion form.
Ask the Librarian
The library welcomes inquiries from faculty, students, and university staff about library services and resources, either by contacting the library departments directly or through the Ask the Librarian service.
Self-Checkout Service
The library provides a self-checkout machine that allows members to borrow and return books independently at any time without staff assistance. This service is available to all library members. How to use the self-checkout machine
Library Membership
Library membership can be requested by filling out the membership application form on the library website (University Staff / Students) or by scanning the QR code at the library entrance.
Clearance Service
This service is available to faculty members and administrative/technical staff, and can be requested through the Etmam system in E-Services.
