The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Abdulaziz University is responsible for providing support and care for students within the university. The administration of Student Affairs was transformed into a deanship on 17/1/1394 AH (January 17, 1974) with the appointment of its first dean. Since then, the deanship has developed significantly to fulfill the university's mission of providing services related to student life, including housing, nutrition, financial aid, scholarships, and educational guidance to help students overcome challenges and develop their personalities through various student activities. The deanship aims to enhance students' educational and social experiences, assisting them in overcoming issues they face and fostering their personal development through diverse extracurricular activities. The university's Higher Council issued a decision during its thirty-fourth meeting held on 17/5/1404 AH (February 28, 1984) approving the establishment of a deanship called the "Deanship of Student Affairs" to care for students and provide them with the necessary services.
