Data Management Office

Overview

The Data Management Office at King Abdulaziz University is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the university's data management and governance efforts, protecting personal data, supporting university sectors in implementing relevant national and international standards and policies, overseeing their compliance, and ensuring adherence to these regulations. Additionally, it works on developing the latest artificial intelligence technologies to align with the university's mission and the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The establishment of the office responds to national trends aimed at enhancing the role of data in supporting decision-making, strengthening the Kingdom's capabilities through policy and regulatory development, and proposing data regulations while ensuring excellence in managing data as a strategic asset that contributes to achieving the developmental vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
