The strategic plan for the College of Nursing, titled “Irtika’a” (Advancement), represents the second strategic plan since its establishment as an independent college. The College of Nursing initiated the development of its second strategic plan (Irtika’a) in 2022 by participating in workshops organized by the Strategic Planning Center at King Abdulaziz University. These workshops aimed to generate ideas and work on defining the college’s vision, mission, values, as well as its strategic pathways, goals, and initiatives. Following this, a Strategic Planning Committee was formed to involve faculty members, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds to select the strategic pathways, set goals, and determine initiatives to achieve each goal. The implementation of these initiatives was carried out through multiple meetings overseen by the College’s Development and Quality Unit. The second strategic plan for the College of Nursing, “Irtika’a” 2022-2025, comprises a total of 4 strategic pathways, 13 strategic goals, and 38 initiatives.
