The Faculty of Engineering at the Rabigh branch of King Abdulaziz University strives to enhance its academic and professional standing through strategic partnerships and cooperation agreements with local and international educational and industrial institutions. Among the most notable of these partnerships is the collaboration with the Scientific Endowment of King Abdulaziz University, which focuses on joint efforts in education, scientific research, and training to support the Faculty academic activities. The Faculty has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Albir Society in Jeddah to strengthen cooperation in education and research, as well as to organize conferences, workshops, and events that contribute to community development in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. Additionally, the Faculty aims to establish a partnership with Petro Rabigh Company that includes student training programs and curriculum development tailored to market needs, thereby strengthening ties between academia and industry. These partnerships aim to enhance students’ practical skills, promote scientific research, keep pace with digital transformations, and provide outstanding training and professional opportunities. Ultimately, they contribute to preparing distinguished engineers and reinforcing the Faculty role in serving the local community and achieving Vision 2030.

  • Memorandum of Understanding with Lucid Electric Vehicle Company About it: The Memorandum of Understanding between the College of Engineering in Rabigh and Lucid Electric Vehicle Company is a pioneering strategic step toward achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in supporting the national electric vehicle industry and the transition to clean energy. The memorandum stipulates the development of academic curricula related to the electric vehicle industry, the provision of training and qualification programs for college students, and the exchange of expertise between the company's engineers and faculty members. Objectives of the Agreement: This partnership is not limited to student training or academic cooperation, but extends to shaping a generation of specialized engineers capable of leading future industrial transformation. The memorandum includes directing graduation projects to topics related to electric vehicles, organizing field visits to the company's factories, and developing advanced academic and professional programs.   • Memorandum of Understanding with Zahid Group of Companies About: The Memorandum of Understanding to be signed with Zahid Group of Companies represents a model of partnership between the industrial sector and Saudi universities to support national development. The Memorandum focuses on providing cooperative and summer training opportunities for students of the College of Engineering in the company's various sectors (Jeddah - Rabigh), in addition to linking educational outcomes with labor market needs in the fields of engineering and heavy industry. Objectives of the Agreement: The existence of such a partnership enhances the college's ability to provide an integrated educational environment that combines academic and practical aspects, enriching students' practical experience and giving them a competitive advantage in the labor market. This Memorandum of Understanding will also contribute to supporting the national economy by preparing national engineering cadres capable of contributing to major projects linked to Vision 2030, particularly in the industrial and infrastructure sectors.
  • Memorandum of Understanding with King Abdullah Economic City About: The Memorandum of Understanding with King Abdullah Economic City opens up broad horizons for cooperation between the college and one of the most prominent integrated smart cities in the Kingdom. The memorandum enables students to learn about the latest practical applications in the fields of energy, transportation, logistics, and smart infrastructure. It also contributes to creating training opportunities and practical projects that align with the Kingdom's drive towards sustainable cities and a knowledge economy. Objectives of the agreement: Through this cooperation, the college will be able to link scientific research with real-world projects implemented within the economic city, enhancing opportunities for practical innovation and raising students' readiness to enter the labor market. This memorandum also contributes to strengthening the college's position as a research and applied arm that keeps pace with major national development projects.
