Partnerships and Agreements

The Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Center for Moderation at King Abdulaziz University is a leading academic institution dedicated to promoting a culture of moderation and combating extremism through strategic partnerships and cooperation agreements with prominent local and international entities. Its local partnerships include collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to promote moderation, launch awareness campaigns, and conduct joint research; cooperation with the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue to organize training programs, workshops, and applied studies; as well as agreements with the Makkah Region Police and the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques to spread the values of moderation and counter extremism through cultural and training activities. Additionally, its partnerships with the Ministry of Education’s Center for Intellectual Awareness and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center support the development of educational, research, and humanitarian initiatives. Internationally, the institute has signed agreements with Tokai University in Japan to strengthen academic and research collaboration in the field of moderation, as well as with the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and Macquarie University in Australia to cooperate in areas such as security studies and criminology. These partnerships play a vital role in reinforcing the center’s position as a leading academic hub, while expanding its influence locally and globally in promoting moderation and countering extremism.
