
Student Activities
The student clubs and committees at the English Language Center in King Abdulaziz University, aim to enrich the academic and practical experience of students, while enhancing their leadership, creativity, and social skills. By offering a diverse range of scientific, advisory, and organizational activities, these clubs provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience, foster collaboration and innovation, and offer an effective platform for exchanging ideas and initiatives. These clubs and committees contribute to developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as teamwork and initiative, preparing students to enter the workforce with confidence and competence. They also create an environment that stimulates innovation, supporting students in exploring their scientific and engineering fields and keeping up with the latest technologies and practical applications in their disciplines.

Islamic and Social Committee
Organizes religious and social activities, conducts lectures and programs that promote Islamic values, implements volunteer initiatives, fosters communication among students, organizes Qur’an competitions, and arranges community engagement events
External Participation: Represents the Institute in university-level religious and social events, and participates in central Qur’an competitions and community initiatives organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs
Cultural and Sports Committee
Organizes cultural and sports events, holds seminars that enrich cultural and intellectual knowledge, arranges internal sports competitions, and coordinates participation in sports tournaments and cultural events.
External Participation: Represents the Institute in university-level cultural and sports events, and participates in central competitions organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. .
English Language Club
The English Language Club offers a wide range of activities conducted in English, aiming to develop students’ language skills and enhance their academic, cultural, and social engagement. These activities include:
Academic and Educational Activities: Workshops to improve English language skills, conversation courses, and academic reading and writing activities.
Cultural and Volunteering Activities: Cultural events that promote knowledge exchange among students, as well as participation in community campaigns and initiatives.
Recreational and Interactive Activities: Language competitions and interactive group activities designed to enhance communication and foster collaboration among members.
How to Join Student Clubs and Committees
Students are contacted at the beginning of each academic year to provide them with the contact details of the committees and clubs. In addition, a Quick Response (QR) code is published to enable students to register for the committee they wish to join. Participation requests for committees and clubs are also sent via the official email of each faculty member, who then shares them with their students. Furthermore, committees and clubs are announced through the institute’s official communication channels and notice boards.
