Partnerships and Agreements

The Faculty of Engineering at King Abdulaziz University enhances its academic, professional, and research standing through effective local and international partnerships and cooperation agreements. Among the most prominent is a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Council of Engineers, aimed at aligning engineering education with labor market needs by supporting professional accreditation, training students for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, participating in academic advisory boards, and facilitating faculty development and field visits. The faculty also collaborates with the Scientific Endowment of the University in organizing the annual “Engineering Day” exhibition, which fosters student creativity, enhances professional skills, and attracts training and employment opportunities from both local and international industry sectors. Internationally, the university signed a significant cooperation agreement with Politecnico di Milano in Italy, focusing on computing and technology. This includes joint research projects, graduate thesis evaluation, and the exchange of workshops and researchers. These strategic partnerships collectively support the faculty’s mission to enhance the student experience, improve curriculum quality, promote research excellence, and reinforce its role as an innovation-driven institution aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
