The Faculty of Dentistry at King Abdulaziz University believes that its social responsibility is an integral part of its educational and research mission. Through its programs and initiatives, the faculty seeks to serve the community and prepare qualified dental professionals who contribute to improving oral and dental health, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The faculty focuses on strengthening its role in raising health awareness, supporting prevention and treatment initiatives, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals and the community. The faculty’s efforts include organizing educational and awareness programs on oral and dental health, prevention of tooth decay and gum diseases, in addition to offering workshops and training courses for students and community members on oral care, proper nutrition, and early prevention methods. The faculty also supports volunteer initiatives by providing free check-ups and treatment services, while offering its students opportunities for field participation that help them gain practical experiences and develop their professional and humanitarian skills. The faculty works on building effective partnerships with healthcare and educational institutions to maximize the impact of its programs, whether through university dental clinics or through awareness and advisory initiatives.
