The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, King Abdulaziz University, is dedicated to advancing oral health care for infants, children, and adolescents, including patients with special health care needs, by providing excellent education, innovative research, and compassionate community service aimed at preparing future dental professionals to deliver the highest standard of pediatric oral health care. The department offers a comprehensive range of academic programs, including undergraduate training, a Master’s (MSc) program in Pediatric Dentistry, a PhD program in Pediatric Dentistry, and the Saudi Board in Pediatric Dentistry, and its faculty members are actively engaged in national and international research collaborations that contribute to advancements in the field of pediatric oral health. The department also plays an important role in community outreach by providing preventive care and oral health education through school programs, public health initiatives, and specialized dental services.
