The Department of Oral Biology at the Faculty of Dentistry, King Abdulaziz University, works toward strategic objectives that support the faculty’s mission and vision by providing high-quality education in oral biology that links theoretical knowledge to the biological basis of diagnosing and treating oral and dental diseases, and by preparing qualified graduates with a solid scientific foundation for evidence-based clinical practice. The department is committed to developing the research capabilities of its students and faculty members and to encouraging innovation in the fields of oral biology and oral tissues, in addition to continuously developing its curricula and courses in line with the latest scientific advancements and modern technologies in the field. It also contributes to community service through research activities and awareness programs related to oral and dental health.
