Student Activities

The Facutly of Communication and Media at King Abdulaziz University places great importance on student activities as an essential part of the educational experience. These activities contribute to developing students’ professional and personal skills while promoting creativity, initiative, and teamwork.

The Media Club represents a student‑led platform where students manage the club’s activities and programs and work within teams representing the various academic departments of the Facutly to organize events, cover activities, and produce media content, fostering leadership and early professional experience.

The Facutly also implements the “Stars of Presentation” initiative, a specialized program designed to train talented students in broadcasting, television presentation, and public speaking through practical training and applied experiences.

In addition, the Facutly adopts the Media Skills Framework as a structured training model that develops students’ fundamental media competencies such as media writing, presentation, dialogue, media planning, photography, editing, design, media monitoring and analysis, content management, and event management.

Graduation projects are presented through the Media Projects initiative held alongside the Digital Communication Conference, while student films are showcased in the Student Film Festival, providing students with opportunities to present their work before professional audiences and specialized juries
