The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences – Rabigh at King Abdulaziz University believes that its social responsibility is an integral part of its educational and research mission, and it strives to enhance its role in community service in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The Faculty focuses on implementing initiatives and programs that contribute to raising health awareness among community members and providing educational and practical awareness services in the fields of applied medical sciences and public health. The Faculty’s efforts include organizing health campaigns and awareness programs targeting various age groups, such as children, the elderly, and pregnant women, in addition to offering workshops and training courses on first aid, healthy nutrition, and disease prevention. The Faculty also supports volunteering and community initiatives, providing opportunities for students to participate in fieldwork and gain practical experience that contributes to the development of their professional and social skills. The Faculty works on building partnerships with governmental and private institutions to enhance the impact of its community programs, whether through direct healthcare services or through advisory and awareness studies. Through these initiatives, the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences – Rabigh affirms its commitment to social responsibility as a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development and making an effective contribution to improving the quality of life and public health in the local community.
