Partnerships and Agreements

The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at King Abdulaziz University – Rabigh Branch strives to enhance its academic and professional standing through strategic partnerships and effective cooperation agreements with local and international educational and healthcare institutions. Among the most notable agreements is a memorandum of understanding signed with the Prince Sultan Rehabilitation City, aimed at fostering collaboration in training, research, and innovation in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. The faculty also maintains international partnerships, including academic and research agreements with the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in the United States, and ongoing arrangements with the School of Health Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. The faculty adopts an institutional vision focused on integration with both public and private sectors, while also enhancing self-generated revenue by building sustainable partnerships and supervising consulting, educational, training, and research projects in cooperation with entities inside and outside the university. These partnerships contribute to the development of the educational environment, strengthen scientific research, and improve the quality of practical training—supporting the faculty’s goals and aligning with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
