Department of Nursing

About the Department: The Nursing Department at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, King Abdulaziz University, was established in 2020 in Rabigh. The academic program in Nursing aims to prepare highly skilled national professionals to advance the nursing profession through an advanced educational curriculum that aligns with the academic standards adopted in the Kingdom. The department focuses on developing students' skills and empowering them to provide high-quality healthcare, which aligns with the vision of King Abdulaziz University for global leadership and supports the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Despite its recent establishment, the department’s strategic plan is derived from the core values of King Abdulaziz University, founded in 1977, to meet the Kingdom's needs for academically qualified healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive health services to all members of society.
