The program aspires to develop future-ready prosthodontists who are distinguished by their advanced clinical, research, and innovation expertise, commitment to evidence-based practice, dedication to lifelong learning, and ability to contribute to the advancement of oral health through leadership, collaboration, and service to society.

Mission

To provide advanced and Up-to-date knowledge, best sets of skills, values, and practices in the field of prosthodontics and related sciences and fields through teaching, learning, research, synthesis and generation of ideas and innovations, and providing community services in the field of academic, industrial, clinical and health services to meet the national and global society’s needs and demands to wellness.

Program Goals

1PG1: To impart essential and advanced knowledge in the field of prosthodontics and related sciences and fields and their applications in life and societies.
2PG2: To nurture, provide, advance, and mentor graduate development through knowledge, skills, and values sets that qualify them as scientists, academicians, clinicians, and scholars, to apply their knowledge, collective skills, and creativity to work in various related academic, clinical, health and research industries and provide best services to national and global societies.
3PG3: To enable graduates to plan and carry out scientific research independently and in teamwork that will help in advancing the prosthodontic sciences and health wellness in societies.

Learning Outcomes

PK1 Acquire, demonstrate, and apply the basics and advanced knowledge/techniques in basic and clinical prosthodontics and related sciences and fields.
PK2 Describe and apply the recent trends in prosthodontics aspects in the selected topic of research and clinical applications in prosthodontics industries.
PK3 Acquire, demonstrate, and apply basic to advanced knowledge, materials, techniques, clinical experiences, operating essential equipment’s, and employing recent technologies in diagnosis, prevention, treating, management, and maintenance of simple to complex or special prosthetic clinical cases.
PK4 Acquire basic to advanced knowledge, materials, techniques, research experiences, operating equipment’s, and technologies in conducting and communicating prosthodontic research.
PS1 Apply the information gained in the field of prosthodontics to solve clinical, laboratory, and research problems.
PS2 Acquire basic and modern skills in formulation and improving the quality of different prosthetic applications.
PS3 Examine and apply the compendia and collection of methods in the design, fabrication, development, innovation, and manufacturing of various dental prostheses that treat and manage simple to advanced complex cases in the community and field in collaboration with other clinical and scientific disciplines.
PS4 Implement advanced techniques and basic skills of research communication for scientific and clinical knowledge and research.
PS5 Install life-long necessary sets of skills to ensure continuation of learning potential and leadership in the prosthodontic field at individual and teams’ levels.
PV1 Create, interpret, evaluate, critical thinking, and apply new knowledge in the prosthodontics sciences and clinics.
PV2 Develop leadership, Intra- inter- personal, communication and management skill.
