20260412890The Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) is a research-oriented graduate program that integrates advanced engineering knowledge with healthcare and biomedical applications. Its curriculum establishes a common foundation in medical imaging, diagnostic instrumentation, tissue engineering and biomedical nanotechnology, clinical engineering, health information management, research methodology, and scientific communication. Students then select three graduate electives and complete an independent thesis that demonstrates mastery of advanced biomedical engineering knowledge, research methods, professional communication, ethical practice, and autonomous problem solving. The official curriculum comprises 36 credit hours over two academic years: seven required courses totaling 19 credits, three elective courses totaling 9 credits, and an 8-credit thesis. The curriculum is organized into three academic levels, with foundational required study in Level One, elective specialization in Level Two, and the thesis in Level Three.
