Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the key and core knowledge of the main branches of chemistry and related fields.
Identify, formulate, and solve broadly defined experimental techniques and interpretation of results in the field, including sources of error and uncertainty to areas relevant to the discipline.
Apply chemical theories to critically analyze and rationalize the reactivity and properties of chemical compounds at an advanced level. Apply scientific knowledge to draft a problem-solving strategy of theoretical calculations and/or experiments.
Plan and conduct accurate quantitative and qualitative measurements using standard chemical instrumentation and software and report experimental results with appropriate interpretation, calculations, and reasonable conclusions.
Evaluate a scientific problem and formulate a question. Present own findings of practical or literature review in a written document, using correct scientific terminology and formatting as proposal suitable for submission to a research project, or as thesis.
Adapt computer applications for facilitating and managing scientific communications, problem solving of different chemical, and modelling of materials through modern computational tools
Perform scientific research independently using scientific knowledge to acquire additional insights that are relevant to the situation.
Independently design, execute, interpret, and professionally communicate an applied research project or investigation that demonstrates mastery of advanced chemical principles and methodologies relevant to industrial or scientific problems.
Present chemical data and reports scientifically in a communication with proper scientific conduct and ethical responsibility.
Lead and manage chemistry project work effectively, and demonstrate self-discipline, decision-making capabilities and Engagement in team working to build a working network in chemistry related fields.
Relate chemistry to the social, ethical and technological aspects of society and estimate the consequences of chemical actions.
