The Center contributes to the realization of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and strengthens the University’s role in transferring and localizing knowledge and science. It aims to highlight the status of the Arabic language and enhance its role within global civilization, recognizing that translation serves as a cornerstone for the advancement of nations and their ability to keep pace with scientific and technological progress. The Center provides high-quality translation services for scholarly works and research across various fields. It also focuses on the Arabization of terminology and modern technologies to facilitate the transfer of knowledge into the Arabic language. Furthermore, the Center strives to improve cultural and scientific communication across different languages and cultures, while developing the tools and methodologies necessary to keep up with the continuous evolution in the fields of translation and the Arabization of scientific terminology. Additionally, the Center offers academic and professional consultation to educational and research institutions. It serves as a key reference in the realms of literary, scientific, and technical translation, thereby fostering intellectual and cultural exchange both locally and internationally.
Through partnerships with universities, research centers, and both local and international public and private institutions, the Center works on developing and Arabizing scientific and technical materials across various fields. It also provides innovative solutions for translating complex texts and localizing knowledge into Arabic. Furthermore, the Center seeks to establish strategic partnerships with academic and professional organizations to support joint research, enhance translation skills, and develop training programs in the fields of translation and Arabization.
