The Research Ethics and Scientific Integrity Administration

Overview

Pursuant to Article 46 of the Scientific Research and Innovation Bylaw in Universities, the Research Ethics and Scientific Integrity Administration was established as an institutional reference point for promoting scientific integrity and research ethics, supporting high-quality research practices, and fostering a culture of responsibility and transparency that strengthens the credibility of research and innovation outputs and the University’s academic reputation. The Administration coordinates the work of relevant committees and units, supports the development and implementation of applicable policies, regulations, and guidelines, and provides training, awareness, and specialized consultations. It also receives and considers reports of concerns in accordance with approved governance, confidentiality, and procedural safeguards, while promoting responsible research practices and institutional coordination to balance prevention with appropriate action under the applicable regulatory framework.
