Q: If the Student Rights Unit issues a decision but my problem is not resolved, what should I do?
If the complaint submitted by the student does not resolve the issue after the unit's committee decision, according to Article (15) of the Student Conduct Regulations, the student may appeal to the University President within one month from the date of notification of the unit’s decision. The President may return the decision to the unit for reconsideration.
Q: If I am wrongly accused of cheating or attempting to cheat, can I appeal?

If the problem persists, the student may submit an appeal to the University President within one month from the date of notification of the disciplinary decision. The President may return the decision to the unit for reconsideration.
Q: I received a “DN” (Deprived) in a course. Can I object?
If a student’s attendance is below 75% of lectures and practical lessons in a course during the semester, the student receives a “DN” and is deprived of taking the final exam. The college council, or its delegate, may lift the deprivation and allow the student to take the exam if the student provides an acceptable excuse. The university council sets the minimum attendance requirement, which must not be less than 50% of lectures and practical lessons for the course.
Q: If I cannot attend the final exam for a course due to an unavoidable excuse, can I retake it?
If a student cannot attend the final exam for any course due to an unavoidable excuse, according to Article 10 of the Study and Examination Regulations, the college council may, in cases of extreme necessity, accept the excuse and allow the student to take a make-up exam before the end of the following semester. The student will receive the grade obtained in the make-up exam.
Q: Am I allowed to transfer from one college to another?
Yes, according to Article 46 of the Study and Examination Regulations, under the following conditions:
Your cumulative GPA must be at least 3 out of 5, or you must meet the admission requirements of the target college.
You must have no disciplinary penalties in your academic record.
Transfer is allowed only once.
You must not have completed more than half of the graduation requirements in your current major.
Subject to the capacity set by the college.
Transfer requests must be submitted during the period specified in the academic calendar and collected by the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
Q: If I doubt the correctness of my final grade, can I object? How?
According to Article 15 of the Study and Examination Regulations, if a student doubts the correctness of a grade:
A. The student should review the grade with the course instructor, who will recheck the student’s paper. If a grade adjustment is necessary, it will be submitted to the department head to present to the relevant committee following steps 1, 2, 3. If no adjustment is needed, the student will be informed accordingly.
B. If the student is still unsatisfied, they may submit a request to the department head, who will review it with the instructor. If the instructor insists on their grading, the department head may refer the exam paper to another faculty member of the same department for correction according to Article 34 of the undergraduate Study and Examination Regulations. The case is then submitted to the relevant committee for a final decision, following steps 1, 2, 3.
