20260412890The Sheikh Abdullah Bakhsh Center of Excellence in Pediatric Cardiac Care is a nonprofit center established in 1435 AH (2013–2014 CE) by faculty members of the University's College of Medicine. Supported by private-sector and charitable contributions, the Center operates under the supervision of the University Hospital, providing specialized cardiac care for children, including open-heart surgery and cardiac catheterization. The Center features advanced medical facilities, including seven specialized clinics, a cardiac catheterization laboratory, an echocardiography laboratory, a pediatric cardiac operating room, 12 intensive care beds, five intermediate care beds, and 10 inpatient beds. It also provides weekly outpatient services to ensure continuous patient care. The Center is committed to delivering high-quality pediatric cardiac care through specialized medical training programs and scientific research in pediatric cardiology, strengthening its contribution to healthcare excellence in Saudi Arabia.
The Center seeks to strengthen partnerships with national and international hospitals, universities, and healthcare organizations to advance research and improve pediatric cardiac diagnosis and treatment. It also promotes knowledge exchange, workshops, and training programs to enhance pediatric cardiac care.
