Faculty Members Track

Conditions:

Conditions

• - Alignment of the research proposal with the national priorities for the Research, Development, and Innovation sector, as well as the university’s research priorities..
• - The research must be suitable for publication.
• - The first or corresponding author must be affiliated with King Abdulaziz University and currently employed.
• - The researcher must agree to acknowledge the support of the Scientific Endowment and the Deanship of Scientific Research only, without mentioning any external entity outside the Kingdom, in the published paper.
• - Publication is accepted in scientific journals classified as Q1 or Q2 in the year of publication, according to the Web of Science database quartile ranking.
• - Publication is accepted in scientific journals classified as Q1 or Q2 in the year of publication, according to the Web of Science database quartile ranking.
• - The Scientific Endowment shall cover the publication fees in scientific journals, up to a maximum of SAR 10,000 per paper.

Postgraduate Students Track

Conditions:

• - Alignment of the research proposal with the national priorities for the Research, Development, and Innovation sector, as well as the university’s research priorities
• - The research must be suitable for publication.
• - The researcher must agree to acknowledge the support of the Scientific Endowment and the Deanship of Scientific Research only, without mentioning any external entity outside the Kingdom, in the published paper.
• - The application must be submitted by the student’s academic supervisor.
• - Publication is accepted in scientific journals classified as Q1, Q2, Q3, or Q4 in the year of publication according to the Web of Science or Scopus databases (for publications in English), as well as scientific journals at Saudi universities, government universities in GCC countries, and Arab universities with an impact factor (for publications in Arabic).
• - The Scientific Endowment shall cover the publication fees in scientific journals, up to a maximum of SAR 10,000 per paper .

KAU Scholarship Students Abroad Track

Conditions

• Alignment of the research proposal with the national priorities for the Research, Development, and Innovation sector, as well as the university’s research priorities.
• - The research must be suitable for publication.
• - The research must be conducted by the student or in collaboration with one of their colleagues or supervisors at the host university
• -The sponsored student must submit an official letter from the host university confirming their continued enrollment.
• - The student must include the affiliation of King Abdulaziz University in addition to the affiliation of the host university.
• - The researcher must agree to acknowledge the support of the Scientific Endowment and the Deanship of Scientific Research only, without mentioning any external entity outside the Kingdom, in the published paper.
• - Publication is accepted in scientific journals classified as Q1 or Q2 in the year of publication, according to the Web of Science database (first or second quartile).
• - The Scientific Endowment shall cover the publication fees in scientific journals, up to a maximum of SAR 10,000 per paper.
