The Radiation Protection and Training Center, established in 1434 AH (2012–2013 CE), is a specialized institution dedicated to ensuring the safe use of radiation technologies and protecting individuals and the environment from radiation-related hazards. The Center provides scientific, technical, consultancy, and training services to professionals engaged in nuclear and radiation-related activities within and outside the University, as well as to other national organizations upon request. The Center aims to promote fundamental radiation protection principles among professionals and the general public, minimizing radiation exposure to the lowest reasonably achievable levels, particularly in environments where radioactive materials are handled. Additionally, the Center promotes awareness of radiation hazards and preventive measures while supporting compliance with national and international standards to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality in radiation-related applications.

The Radiation Protection and Training Center seeks to establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research centers, and public and private organizations at both national and international levels to strengthen collaboration in radiation protection training and research.
