20260412890The Princess Al-Jawhara Al-Brahim Center of Excellence in Research of Hereditary Disorders (PACER-HD) is one of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pioneering centers dedicated to hereditary disease research. Established in 2008, it brings together a distinguished team of physician-researchers and scientists specializing in genetics and human heredity. The center’s research covers a broad range of topics, including rare genetic disorders, oncogenetics, and the use of bioinformatics and artificial intelligence in genetics. Its advanced laboratory is equipped with technologies such as Sanger sequencing, microarray analysis, and real-time PCR, supporting both researchers and postgraduate students. PACER-HD also organizes community programs and workshops to raise awareness and promote learning about genes and human genetics.
