General Intermediate Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management

A general intermediate diploma program designed to prepare national cadres specialized in travel and tourism services management, providing them with practical knowledge and skills in the fields of reservations, tourism planning, marketing, and customer service. The program is offered through a blended learning system (remote and evening classes) and targets those seeking to work in travel agencies, tourism companies, and tour operators.

Faculty

The Travel and Tourism Management program is offered remotely and in-person in the evenings by a select group of faculty members with doctorates, master's degrees, and bachelor's degrees in tourism, travel, hospitality, and event management. They combine deep academic experience with professional field experience. The academic team is committed to providing a distinguished educational experience that blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling students to acquire the required skills and confidently embark on the job market.

Educational objectives

Developing professional knowledge in the tourism and travel sector: enabling students to become familiar with the structure of the tourism industry and international and domestic travel patterns.
Acquiring tourism reservation and planning skills: qualifying students to use electronic reservation systems and design tourism programs professionally.
Developing communication and tourism customer service skills: Training students to deal with customers professionally and with high cultural awareness.
Enhancing understanding of tourism marketing and destination management: Introducing students to traditional and modern digital marketing methods in the tourism sector

Admission requirements

The applicant must have a Saudi high school diploma or its equivalent.
The applicant's high school GPA must be 60% or higher.
To obtain the approval of his employer if he works (in the military sector only).
Tuition fees must be paid on time according to the dates announced on the Deanship of Admission and Registration website.
Vacant seats are available in the program according to the decision of the University Council.
