Does the University cover the fees for professional certifications?
The University does not bear any financial expenses, obligations, or administrative liabilities.
Does approval for professional courses cover the employee’s absence days during the training period?
Approval of the certification does not exempt the employee from official working hours. The training days must be covered by an approved leave.
How can I check the status of my nomination request for Institute of Public Administration courses?
Employees should regularly check the Trainees Portal to confirm their acceptance status.
How can I add an Institute of Public Administration course certificate to the Anjez system?
Institute of Public Administration certificates, except those issued by the Business Center and Ethrai, are automatically reflected in the employee’s Anjez system after successfully completing the training course, effective from 1447/07/01 AH, based on the circular issued by the General Administration of Human Resources No. 4758630, dated 1447/06/23 AH.
How is an employee evaluated if they are on secondment or enrolled in a postgraduate program for more than six months during the performance evaluation cycle?
The employee is evaluated based on the reports submitted to the government entity by the educational institution or the secondment entity.
How is an employee evaluated if they are on leave for more than six months during the performance evaluation cycle?
The employee is evaluated based on their performance during the period preceding the leave.

Are employees appointed under the Wage Category eligible to apply for a promotion?
Employees appointed under the Wage Category are not subject to the regular promotion scale (Articles 47–58). They may improve their employment status through transfer to the same grade (Article 100/B), contract renewal under updated terms, or by competing for an advertised permanent position.
What are the basic requirements for applying for an administrative promotion?
The target position must be actually vacant, the required qualifications and experience must be met, the position must be at the next grade, the latest performance evaluation must be at least “Good,” and none of the restrictions stipulated in Article 49 may apply.
Is the period of exceptional leave counted toward the experience required for promotion?
No. According to Paragraph (B) of Article 48 of the Executive Regulations, periods of exceptional leave, secondment to non-government entities, or incomplete scholarship/delegation assignments are not counted toward the required experience period.
How is an academic promotion for a faculty member approved?
After fulfilling the required statutory period and scientific production requirements, the promotion file is referred for academic evaluation. The promotion is then approved by a decision of the Scientific Council.
How can an employee appeal a promotion or selection result?
By submitting a grievance to the General Administration of Human Resources within the statutory period specified in the University’s approved regulatory framework, stating the reasons for the objection and providing the relevant supporting documents.
