The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education at King Abdulaziz University is responsible for managing and developing e-learning and distance education programs at the university. It was established on 11/5/1425 AH (2004 AD) and aims to contribute effectively to the scientific development witnessed by the Kingdom in general and King Abdulaziz University in particular, by applying the latest technologies used in e-learning and distance education. The deanship seeks to provide an innovative and flexible educational environment that meets the needs of students, thus enhancing the quality of education and achieving the university's goals in reaching as many learners as possible. The deanship's responsibilities include designing and developing electronic curricula, providing technical and academic support to faculty members and students, and implementing training programs and workshops related to e-learning. The deanship aims to offer diverse and distinguished educational services in response to the growing demand for them, by effectively utilizing modern technologies in e-learning and distance education, according to local and global quality standards. The deanship also works to enhance the use of modern technologies in education and to develop teaching and assessment methods in line with international academic standards. The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education strives to provide a distinguished educational experience by offering diverse educational resources and encouraging interaction between students and faculty members, thereby enhancing the learning process and allowing students the flexibility to manage their studies.
