Service Details
This scholarship seat is granted to non-Saudi candidates in higher education institutions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is an official scholarship under special agreements approved by Royal Directives (Cultural Exchange). Among the participating countries are the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and Yemen. The program is divided into two types:
- External Fixed Scholarships: For candidates residing outside the Kingdom who receive a study visa.
- Internal Fixed Scholarships: For candidates residing within the Kingdom.
Admission Requirements
- The applicant must hold a university degree from a recognized institution, and all documents must be certified by the Saudi Embassy (Cultural Attaché) in their country or in the country where the degree was obtained. The Cultural Attaché will be contacted to verify the authenticity of the qualification.
- The applicant’s GPA must not be less than Very Good.
- The applicant’s age must not exceed 35 years for Master’s programs and 40 years for Doctoral programs.
- The applicant must provide two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught them.
- Applicants for internal fixed scholarships must achieve a minimum score of 65 on the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates.
- The applicant must obtain an official nomination letter from the competent authorities in their home country and the approval of the Saudi Ministry of Education.
- Admission is not available for health-related fields (Medicine, Dentistry, Applied Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, etc.).
Benefits of the Fixed Scholarship
External Fixed Scholarship Recipients are entitled to accommodation, a monthly stipend, health care, medical treatment provided to university students, and annual round-trip flight tickets during the official study period.
Internal Fixed Scholarship Recipients receive an academic seat in addition to a monthly stipend.
