20260412890The Center of Research Excellence in Trauma and Accidents was established in 1439 AH, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and its goals, in response to the growing need for specialized research centers dedicated to reducing injuries and accidents. The center aims to develop innovative scientific solutions to prevent accidents and minimize their impact on public health through in-depth research in accident prevention, early diagnosis, and effective treatment of injuries resulting from events such as traffic accidents, occupational injuries, and domestic accidents. The center seeks to enhance the understanding of the relationship between social and environmental risk factors, analyze various injury patterns, and provide scientific consultations to both governmental and private institutions. It also works on developing effective strategies to mitigate injuries and accidents, as well as providing specialized training for physicians, healthcare practitioners, and researchers.
Partnerships and Agreements at the Center of Research Excellence in Trauma and Accidents aim to enhance collaboration with hospitals, universities, and local and international organizations in the fields of prevention and treatment. Through these partnerships, the center conducts joint research, develops innovative solutions to reduce injuries and accidents, facilitates knowledge exchange, and organizes training workshops.
