About the Center

King Abdulaziz University established the Center of Excellence in Renewable Energy and Electric Power Systems Research to conduct high-quality research and studies in the field. The Center also provides consultancy services and solutions to government and private-sector organizations within its area of expertise, in addition to providing the necessary training for technicians, engineers, and researchers, and contributing to technology localization. The Center also aims to develop patents and establish collaborations with industrial companies to further develop these patents into prototypes and subsequently transform them into industrial products.
