Administration of Inventory control

Overview

It is one of the regulatory entities responsible for ensuring the application of government warehouse rules and procedures across all university warehouses, as well as overseeing the issuance and procurement of items in accordance with an objective and strategic plan. This enables the entity to determine the minimum and maximum stock levels and reorder points for items held in the warehouses, thereby ensuring their availability when needed. These processes are carried out in accordance with standards that comply with applicable regulations and laws, in support of the University’s objectives and to ensure business continuity.

Vision

We strive to ensure that the monitoring of item movements and custodial assets is conducted electronically, with minimal processing time and the highest levels of quality and accuracy, by enhancing the work environment and strengthening the oversight role in inventory management.

Strengthen oversight and governance of university assets and properties, and enhance compliance with applicable regulations and instructions.
Enhance the efficiency of asset and warehouse management by developing procedures and forms and improving operational processes.
Maximize the utilization of university assets through recycling, repurposing, and rationalizing expenditure.
Support digital transformation and the automation of administrative procedures by developing electronic solutions and systems.
Raise awareness, build capabilities, and promote a culture of sustainability and the preservation of university assets and resources.
