Transformation Management Office

Overview

The royal approval No. (62735) dated 23/11/1441 AH, which approves the application of the university system to King Abdulaziz University, requires the university to implement significant internal strategic changes to maximize the benefits of the new opportunities and horizons offered by the system. Additionally, it calls for the development of proactive solutions to address future challenges and manage the changes that will occur in various areas of the university as a result of the system’s implementation. To carry out transformation processes of this scale, it is essential to have an executive structure in place to manage, organize, and monitor the transformation processes, ensuring that all necessary requirements are met and that the desired objectives are achieved. This will be accomplished through the establishment of a "Transformation Management Office," which will be responsible for overseeing all processes related to the transformation, ensuring that operations proceed according to the specified timeline and that the outputs meet the highest standards of quality, in line with the best local, regional, and global practices.

Preparing the transformation plan document for King Abdulaziz University’s transition to the university system.
Developing a unified methodology across all university sectors to manage the transformation process.
Establishing a governance framework for the transformation processes to the university system in accordance with the policies and regulations of the university system, ensuring the feasibility of executing these processes.
Developing procedures, templates, and performance indicators related to the transformation processes as per the needs of the work.
Direct and effective communication with officials across all relevant university sectors to implement the transformation plan, aiming to support the office’s work.
Preparing periodic follow-up reports on the progress and readiness concerning the transformation plan and submitting them to the Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in preparation for presentation to the relevant committees and councils.
