Wadi Jeddah Launches UNIKIT, a One-Stop Online Store for KAU Students

Wadi Jeddah Company, the investment arm of King Abdulaziz University, has launched UNIKIT, a new online store designed to bring together students’ academic and university needs in one place, from course-specific tools and supplies to apparel and other university essentials. The launch took place on Monday at the Wadi Jeddah Innovation Complex in the presence of Dr. Sattam Lingawi, Chief Executive Officer of Wadi Jeddah Company.

UNIKIT was developed in response to students’ practical needs, offering selected products tailored to a range of faculties and academic disciplines through a single online platform.

 

The store features tools for students in the Faculty of Engineering, including equipment used in workshop and electrical circuits courses, as well as formal uniforms for students in the Faculty of Tourism and a variety of supplies for students across several faculties and disciplines.

 

UNIKIT also offers apparel, stationery, and KAU-branded products, giving undergraduate and graduate students access to items connected to the University and its identity.

 

Dr. Sattam Lingawi, CEO of Wadi Jeddah Company, said the launch of UNIKIT is part of the company’s efforts to develop projects and services that respond to the needs of the University community and turn those needs into scalable business opportunities. He added that the next phase will focus on expanding the store’s products and services in line with the needs of students and faculties.

 

Wadi Jeddah also plans to further develop UNIKIT by expanding its range of products and services for different faculties and academic disciplines. This will include assessing student needs, receiving their suggestions, and introducing new products that better reflect their requirements.
