King Abdulaziz University Hosts “Pioneers of Science: Makers of Tomorrow” Forum

King Abdulaziz University (KAU), represented by the Faculty of Science, hosted the “Pioneers of Science: Makers of Tomorrow” Forum on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, under the patronage of University President Dr. Tareef bin Yousuf Alaama.

The forum aims to strengthen connections and a sense of belonging among Faculty of Science students and alumni while building a sustainable professional network that promotes continued collaboration and knowledge exchange. It also connects students and graduates with employers and strategic partners, fostering professional relationships and a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the forum seeks to empower students and graduates to develop their ideas and projects while encouraging innovation in environmental sustainability through creative solutions to community and environmental challenges. It also showcases student achievements and supports participants in developing the professional, technical, and interpersonal skills needed to enhance their readiness and competitiveness in the labor market.

The program features success stories shared by inspiring speakers, a professional networking exhibition, training courses and workshops, the Sustainable Intelligence Hackathon, and a student innovation exhibition featuring projects in innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as environmental innovation and sustainability.

Dr. Mona bint Ghoneim Al-Harbi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science, noted that the forum responds to the growing diversity of career pathways and the need for effective career guidance and direct engagement with employers across various sectors. She explained that the forum provides a platform connecting graduates with experts, leaders, and employers, helping them build professional networks, explore opportunities, and shape their career paths with confidence while preparing for future opportunities.
