Dr. Hatem Aied Almazarqi is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in Rabigh, King Abdulaziz University, and Chair of the Department of Computer Science. He received his Ph.D. in Cyber Security from the University of Glasgow, his M.Sc. in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, and his B.Sc. in Computer Science from King Abdulaziz University. His research interests focus on cybersecurity, particularly the security of the Internet of Things (IoT), large-scale cyber threat analysis, behavioural profiling of cyber threats, and cyber threat monitoring. His broader research interests include artificial intelligence and machine learning, distributed learning systems, big data analytics, and data-driven intelligent systems for analysis, prediction, and decision-making across large-scale networked systems and other data-driven application domains.
