Biography
Dr. Mohannad Alharthi is an Assistant Professor of Computing and Information Technology and Chair of the Department of Information Technology at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Rabigh. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computing from Queen’s University, Canada, and his B.Sc. in Computer Science from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. His research interests focus on next-generation communication networks, particularly unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) networks, aerial networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), and software-defined networks and their intelligent orchestration. His research also encompasses the simulation and modeling of networks within the context of cyber-physical systems. In addition, his interests include the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to communication networks, as well as improving the quality of experience in networking and communication applications
