Dr. Anas Waleed Abualfaraj is the Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in Rabigh and an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems. He previously served as Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in Rabigh, Head of the Information Systems Department, and Head of the Exit Exam Unit. His academic and research interests include human-computer interaction (HCI), user experience (UX), data science, and artificial intelligence. He has led a number of academic initiatives and, together with his colleagues, contributed to the Faculty earning ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accreditation, as well as to several university-level initiatives. He has contributed to the development of academic programs and the supervision of research projects, with a focus on designing and applying innovative human-centered solutions that leverage principles of human-computer interaction and user experience to enhance usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction in support of education, scientific research, and decision-making.
