Biography
Assistant Professor of Business Administration at King Abdulaziz University, with advanced academic and research expertise in human resource management, organizational behavior, and change management. Her research focuses on the localization and adaptation of high-performance work systems within Middle Eastern organizational contexts, particularly in the healthcare sector. She earned her PhD in Management from Flinders University, Australia, where she successfully managed a prestigious international grant funded by the Council for Australian-Arab Relations (CAAR), aimed at enhancing Arab-Australian collaboration in business, education, and the legal profession. She also served as a lead investigator in another CAAR-funded project on knowledge transfer in health and aged care across Australia and the MENA region. Dr. Alothmany currently serves as Head of the Department of Business Administration - female section, and as an Advisor to the General Directorate of Institutional Governance. She is also an Associate Editor for the Saudi Journal for Health Systems Research, and holds academic status at Flinders University, reflecting her ongoing engagement in international research collaboration. Dr. Alothmany is recognized for her multidimensional approach that bridges academic research with strategic leadership. She is deeply committed to building connections between knowledge and practice, and advancing the integration of cultural and contextual perspectives within organizational and administrative practices in the Arab world.
