Biography
Dr. Tahani is an Assistant Professor of Leadership in the Department of Public Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, King Abdulaziz University. She holds a PhD in Management, from Birkbeck, University of London. She has advanced academic and research experience in the fields of human resource management and development, organizational behaviour, and academic leadership, with a particular focus on gender studies, in addition to her interest in virtual organizations and flexible work. She has published several research papers and presented scholarly work at international conferences. She has held a number of academic and administrative positions and responsibilities, most notably Head of the Department of Public Administration (female section), Director of the Academic Master’s Program in the Department of Public Administration (female section), and member of the department’s Advisory Committee and Development Committee, in addition to serving on several specialized academic committees. She also worked at the Centre for Teaching and Learning Development at King Abdulaziz University, where she contributed to the development and implementation of training programs for faculty members and postgraduate students, including the Preparation for Scholarship Program and the Professional Diploma Program for Faculty Development. She is a member of the Centre for Innovation Management Research (CIMR) at Birkbeck, University of London, and has contributed to research activities related to her field of specialization. She was honoured by the Saudi Cultural Bureau in recognition of her academic excellence. Dr. Tahani also participated as a knowledge expert in the Youth Voice Program affiliated with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk). Her academic journey reflects a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education, building students’ capabilities, and promoting innovation as a pathway to strengthening their professional readiness within the national context.
