Biography
Dr. Mohammed Ameen is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Information Systems at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in Rabigh, King Abdulaziz University. He earned his Ph.D. in Human–Computer Interaction from Iowa State University, his M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and his B.S. in Information Technology from King Abdulaziz University. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Human–Computer Interaction, Computer Vision, medical image analysis, and decision-support systems. His work focuses on developing intelligent, human-centered solutions that support healthcare and improve quality of life. He received the Iowa State University Innovation Prize in 2021 and is committed to advancing educational quality, research, innovation, and the alignment of Information Systems programs with workforce needs.
