Biography
Dr. Hanadi Alkhudhayr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Rabigh Campus, King Abdulaziz University, where she also serves as the Supervisor of the Information Systems Department. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science (Bioinformatics) from Newcastle University, United Kingdom, and brings over fifteen years of academic and leadership experience in higher education, including teaching, academic administration, curriculum development, and quality assurance. Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Analytics, and Intelligent Systems, with particular emphasis on developing innovative AI-driven solutions for healthcare, smart cities, sustainability, and digital transformation. She has authored numerous publications in leading international peer-reviewed journals and has actively contributed to multidisciplinary research projects, research reviewing, and the supervision of undergraduate research and capstone projects. Dr. Alkhudhayr is committed to advancing research excellence and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance education, strengthen institutional innovation, and prepare future generations of professionals capable of driving digital transformation and supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030
