About the Program

The Diploma in Hajj and Umrah Services Management supports multiple pillars at varying levels in qualifying and developing the skills of professionals working in Hajj and Umrah institutions in the Kingdom. It highlights the Kingdom’s unique role in facilitating, enabling, and delivering Hajj and Umrah services, and contributes to achieving one of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in the Hajj and Umrah services sector. The program also focuses on qualifying and developing human capital through scientific and practical preparation in Hajj and Umrah services management, fulfilling the University’s mission by offering programs that serve the community across various Hajj and Umrah service sectors, in line with international best practices and global standards, while aligning with the local environment and contributing to the development of a sustainable sector.

Mission

Preparing and providing specialized professional cadres by equipping them with the knowledge and skills related to the management of Hajj and Umrah services, enhancing their capabilities, and training them on the latest developments to meet the service requirements in the Hajj and Umrah sector.

5Understanding the importance of applying environmental management and sustainable development concepts in the holy sites, accommodation, and hospitality of pilgrims.
6Providing ideal direct interaction with pilgrims of diverse languages and cultures, combining service excellence with spiritual leadership.

To recognize the foundations, principles, and concepts of Hajj and Umrah services management.
To describe the fundamentals and principles of hospitality management and their applications in Hajj and Umrah services.
To identify environmental conservation concepts and sustainable development principles in the design, organization, and operation of Hajj and Umrah sites.
To recognize the basic principles of providing safe, healthy, and high-quality food, in addition to disaster and crisis management in Hajj and Umrah and their various applications.
To develop operational and executive skills related to Hajj and Umrah services within the various Hajj and Umrah institutions in the Kingdom.
To apply different aspects of logistics services associated with Hajj and Umrah.
To implement effective crowd management practices in Hajj and Umrah.
To work effectively within a team while adhering to professional ethics and work conduct.
To apply intercultural communication skills.
