Director General of the General Administration for Information Technology
Mohannad bin Mohammed Ali Harbi, General Director of the General Department of Information Technology, holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from RMIT University in Australia. He has over 14 years of managerial experience in the field of information technology.
He has held several leadership positions, including Deputy Director of the Finance and Administrative Applications Department at the Deanship of Information Technology, and Director of the Human Resources Information Systems Department at the General Administration of Human Resources, before assuming his current role as the first administrator to lead the university’s IT sector.
He has contributed to leading and implementing various strategic technology projects, developing IT infrastructure, and automating a wide range of electronic services, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and service quality. He is also a member of several Higher, supervisory, and executive committees at the university, where he leverages his expertise to support decision-making and drive initiatives and strategic directions related to digital transformation and IT management.
