Dr. Basel Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Jubhan

Dr. Basim Ibrahim AlJabhan, General Manager for Administration of Research Centers Affairs, is one of the leading national experts in the field of supply chain and logistics management. He holds a Ph.D. from the United Kingdom in Supply Chain and Logistics Management and possesses extensive experience in academic and administrative leadership. He has held several prominent positions at King Abdulaziz University, most notably: Advisor to the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Maritime Studies for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Head of the Department of Supply Chain Management and Maritime Business, in addition to several other key roles.
Dr. AlJabhan is an active member of numerous international organizations such as CILT and ASCM, and also contributes to local bodies including the Logistics Council at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and various university and national committees. He has delivered numerous lectures and specialized workshops in logistics and supply chain management at reputable academic institutions and industrial organizations.
His research interests include: the development of smart supply chains, promoting sustainability practices in logistics, risk management in supply chains, maritime logistics and port management, and digital transformation in the logistics sector—aimed at enhancing efficiency and institutional excellence.
Dr. AlJabhan holds a strong vision for the importance of innovation and research excellence as fundamental pillars in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Through his efforts, he contributes to advancing the outcomes of research centers and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for research, development, and innovation.
