Full Professor of Accounting and Finance at king Abdulaziz university. He served as Director General of the Internal Audit Department from 2023 to 2025. He also held the position of General Supervisor of the Center for Training and Qualification Development from 2021 to 2023 and worked as a part-time advisor at the Office of the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research from 2021 to 2022. In addition, he served as Deputy General Supervisor of the Center for Training and Qualification Development from 2020 to 2021 and Deputy General Supervisor of the Administrative Development Department from 2018 to 2020. Dr. Boshnak earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with First Class Honors from King Abdulaziz University in 2006. He obtained his Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance in 2010 from Bangor University and completed his PhD in Accounting and Finance in 2017 at University of the West of England. He also received the Academic Leadership Diploma for Heads and Supervisors of Academic Departments in 2023 from King Abdulaziz University. He has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers in the areas of accounting disclosure, corporate governance, ownership structure, capital structure, firm performance, corporate social responsibility, financial reporting quality, and audit quality. He also serves as an accredited reviewer for several leading academic publishers and peer-reviewed scientific journals. Alongside his academic and research activities, Dr. Boshnak is actively involved in teaching and supervising master’s theses and doctoral dissertations. He has extensive professional training experience in accounting and finance and has delivered numerous training courses and educational programs for personnel from the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Emirate of Makkah Region, Makkah Region Police, and King Abdulaziz University.
